Easy Dentist Marketing By Watching TV
If you want to grow your dental practice by selling more to your patients, then there is a TV show you must watch.
Let me explain:
Dentist Marketing and a TV Show:
For the longest time, my wife has wanted one of those Kitchen Aid professional mixers. The kind that turns a doughy mess into a bowl of beauty in a matter of minutes. But she hasn’t pulled the trigger because it runs $399 a pop.
And so the other night I was flipping through the boob-tube and landed on QVC.
Where they were selling the exact Kitchen Aid mixer my wife wanted.
And not for $399.
Not for $299.
But for a bargain at $249 which was the lowest price my wife had ever seen.
I know this because my wife let out a faint squeal that told me she was in a buying mode.
In fact, I peeked over at my wife and saw her excitement.
I saw her cupping her credit card.
I saw how she was fighting the urge to pick up the phone and buy.
But she was still on the fence.
And two things pushed her over the edge to buy:
1) They threw in a free food chopper attachment worth $49 as a bonus gift.
2) The ladies on QVC hammered every benefit my wife wanted.
Like:
It looked nice. It was quiet. It made baking a zillion times easier. It cleaned itself. It mixed all the ingredients completely thanks to a new “whiz bang” attachment that came with each mixer.
And at $249 it was a steal.
What’s my point?
If you want to become super-duper at selling more to your patients (and growing your dental practice at the same time) then watch QVC. Watch how the host presents the product. Watch how the host cleverly demonstrates the benefits. Watch how they use scarcity to get you to buy now.
Watch how they use live testimonials to get you to fork over your money.
In fact, QVC is the best sales training system I’ve ever seen.
You won’t find a better way to learn how to sell than you will at QVC.
